Experienced Leader for Positive Change

Adrian grew up in Warea and has lived in New Plymouth and Bell Block for over 35 years with my wife, Melanie. We love this community — its unique mix of lifestyle, business, hospitality, and recreation — and feel fortunate to call it home. It’s safe, connected, and full of opportunity, and I’m committed to protecting and strengthening it for future generations.

With over 25 years of governance and leadership experience — including the past five years as General Manager of the Taranaki Health Foundation — Adrian has delivered projects and outcomes that make a real difference in our region. He also holds a Graduate Diploma in Business Studies (Management) and a Diploma in Professional Fundraising.

For the past three years, Adrian has had the privilege of serving as Chair of the Puketapu–Bell Block Community Board. This role has given him valuable insight into how local government and our council operate — and more importantly, how to be an effective councillor for our community, if he is fortunate enough to be elected.
